The basics
Do you use AI to write books?
No. Every word of a Velmont manuscript is written and edited by people. We use software for transcription, research organisation, project tracking and marketing analytics, and we tell you exactly where.
How much does it cost?
Studio publishing packages run from $499 to $3,999 for authors with a manuscript. Signature ghostwriting starts at $45,000 and Premier at $95,000. Every project gets a fixed quote.
Do I keep my rights and royalties?
Yes, all of them. Books are published under your own imprint and accounts.
Do you only do nonfiction?
No. We write and publish across 16 genres, including fiction, children’s books, poetry and cookbooks.
Process & time
How long does it take?
A typical ghostwritten book takes about 36 weeks from first interview to launch on the independent route. Editing and publishing an existing manuscript usually takes three to five months.
Can I choose my writer?
Yes. We introduce two or three writers matched to your genre and you choose.
What if I don’t like a chapter?
Two revision rounds per chapter are included, and your publishing director steps in if the collaboration needs adjusting.
Publishing & marketing
Can you guarantee a bestseller?
No one honestly can. We build launches around what makes one possible: pre-orders, reviews, media and focused advertising, and we report results weekly.
Can you get me a traditional deal?
We prepare the proposal or manuscript and run a targeted agent strategy. No honest firm can guarantee a deal.
Who owns the ad accounts?
You do. Campaigns run in ad accounts in your name; ad spend is paid directly to the platforms.
